Admiral Hardy
In the centre of Greenwich on the corner of the market square, The
Admiral Hardy public house had become run down and suffered from
lack of investment. The decorations were poor giving the pub a
dreary feel and there were structural problems to be resolved. New
owners wished to completely refit the pub and give it anew lease of
life, whilst staying in keeping with the character of the existing
Grade 2 Listed Building. The existing pub was dominated by a large
central bar which functioned badly as a bar and made circulation
difficult. The scheme relocated the bar to open up the space and
create a better seating area. |
